Hillary Clinton hosting fundraiser for New Hampshire official
Hillary Clinton will host a fundraiser for a New Hampshire state senator in Washington this month, showing she is doing outreach in the state that holds the first presidential primary.
State Sen. Lou D’Allesandro (D) confirmed to the New Hampshire Union-Leader on Sunday night that Clinton will appear at a fundraiser for him on Sept. 30 at a Capitol Hill law firm. He said about 30-35 people are expected to attend.
D’Allesandro endorsed Clinton in 2007 and was national co-chairman of Italian-Americans for Hillary.
{mosads}Clinton has not yet been to New Hampshire this year. Former President Clinton will be heading to the state to speak at the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner on Oct. 16.
Hillary Clinton made her high-profile return this month to Iowa, which holds the first presidential nominating contest.
