Trump: New York Times reporter should resign
Donald Trump is calling for the resignation of a New York Times reporter who co-authored a controversial article about his history with women.
Trump took to Twitter late Tuesday, saying Michael Barbaro “has in the past tweeted badly about me.”

{mosads}The Times published an article last Sunday detailing Trump’s past interactions with women.
The front-page story said that he nurtured some women’s careers, adding that he could also be demeaning and crude.
Barbaro and co-author Megan Twohey’s article said this contrast created a “complex, at times contradictory portrait” of the GOP’s presumptive presidential nominee.
Trump on Sunday blasted the story as a “lame hit piece” published by a “failing” newspaper to make him look bad.
A woman who dated Trump, meanwhile, on Monday said that the Times had “spun” her portrayal of the billionaire so it sounded more negative.
“He never made me feel demeaned in any way,” Rowanne Brewer Lane said on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends.”
“He was very gracious,” she added of Trump. “I saw him around all types of people, all types of women. He was very kind, thoughtful, generous. I did not have a negative experience with Donald Trump.”
Barbaro and Twohey on Monday defended the accuracy of their article, arguing that they had meticulously researched Trump’s past with the businessman’s input.
“We stand by our story,” Barbaro said on CNN’s “At This Hour.” “We quoted [Lane] fairly and accurately. The story really speaks for itself.”
Barbaro criticized Trump’s White House run earlier this month, arguing that it reflected poorly on the media.
Entire Trump campaign, arguably, is journalistic lesson about over-coverage of elites, their views, the weight they carry.
