Sanders to address supporters in live stream Thursday

Bernie Sanders will address his supporters in a live stream video Thursday evening, the Democratic presidential candidate announced on Tuesday.

{mosads}In an email to supporters, the independent Vermont senator noted that Tuesday is the last day of Democratic primaries and said he wants to tell supporters “what’s next for our campaign.”

“When we started this campaign, I told you that I was running not to oppose any man or woman, but to propose new and far-reaching policies to deal with the crises of our time,” Sanders wrote. “And for the past fourteen months, through the entire primary process, we’ve sent the establishment a message they can’t ignore: we won’t settle for the status quo.”

“After today, the voting is done, but our political revolution continues,” he added.

Hillary Clinton was declared the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee last week. Since then, Sanders has felt pressure from party leaders to drop out of the race and begin the effort to unite Democrats ahead of the general election.

Clinton and Sanders are scheduled to meet Tuesday evening in Washington D.C., which holds the last Democratic presidential primary of the year on Tuesday.

ABC News first reported Sanders’s planned address earlier on Tuesday.
