Donald Trump on Wednesday increased his attacks on Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, posting a video showing FBI Director James Comey refuting Clinton’s claims about her private email server point-by-point.
{mosads}The video repeatedly shows a clip of Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, saying in an interview, “I did not send or receive any information that was marked classified at the time.”
It cuts back to Comey revealing that emails were found on her server that contained information that was indeed classified during her time as secretary of State.
“From the group of 30,000 emails returned to the State Department in 2014, 110 emails in 52 email chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received,” Comey says in a clip from his Tuesday press briefing.
Comey announced in the briefing that he would not be pushing for charges against Clinton for her use of a private email account and server while secretary of State, though he called her actions “extremely careless,” in remarks that Trump, Clinton’s Republican counterpart, has already seized on in his campaigning.
