Hillary Clinton leads presidential rival Donald Trump by 6 points in Wisconsin, according to a poll released Wednesday.
{mosads}Pollsters with the Marquette University Law School report that the presumptive Democratic nominee tops Trump 43 percent to 37 percent among the state’s registered voters, a lead that persists even when third-party candidates enter the fray.
Clinton takes 40 percent to Trump’s 33 percent in that scenario, with Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson nabbing 10 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein receiving 4 percent.
Wednesday’s survey shows Trump and Clinton both struggling with unpopularity in Wisconsin.
Sixty-three percent view Trump unfavorably, and 29 percent see the presumptive GOP nominee favorably. Meanwhile, 58 percent see Clinton unfavorably, and 36 percent see her favorably.
Pollsters additionally found Johnson faces an uphill battle with name recognition among Wisconsin’s registered voters.
Seventy percent say they have never heard of the former New Mexico governor. Of those who had, 11 percent see him favorably and 10 percent view him unfavorably.
Marquette conducted its survey among 801 registered voters July 7–10. It has a 4.1 percentage point margin of error.
Clinton leads Trump by about 4 points nationwide, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average of polls.
