Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign is halfway to meeting its $1 billion fundraising goal for the 2016 presidential race, The Associated Press reported Sunday.

{mosads}The announcement was made during a meeting on Thursday with staff at the campaign’s headquarters in Brooklyn, N.Y., according to the AP.

During the month of July, Clinton raised $90 million for her campaign and the Democratic Party committees. Clinton’s campaign said it is entering August with $58 million on hand. The average donation for July was $44, and 54 percent of the donations last month came from new contributors.

The Democratic nominee has already spent $67 million on general-election ads and is expected to spend at least $10 million on ads this week, the AP reported. She also has a staff of about 700 people and has opened up campaign offices across the country.

Over the next two weeks, Clinton’s campaign has 43 events planned in 14 states.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump raised $80 million in July. Trump has only recently begun airing ads, and his campaign’s payroll includes about 70 employees.
