Clinton to rub shoulders with Katzenberg, Spielberg
{mosads}Clinton is scheduled to attend a Nov. 8 gala for the International Medical Corps, where she’ll also have the opportunity to chat with DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg and movie producer Stephen Spielberg.
The two bid Democratic donors, along with their wives, are among the hosts for the benefit, the Los Angeles Times reports. Katzenberg in particular is expected to work with a pro-Obama super-PAC that plans to support Clinton’s possible 2016 presidential bid.
Tickets for the gala cost up to $100,000, so Clinton will likely be surrounded by a number of other potential donors at the gala.
She hasn’t yet indicated her plans for 2016, but most Democrats expect her to run for the White House, and she’s led every recent poll of the Democratic field.
This will be Clinton’s fourth visit to California in recent months. She previously spoke to a number of industry groups and received an award from the Pacific Council on International Policy.
