Trump endorses tweet calling Megyn Kelly a ‘bimbo’
Donald Trump made good on his debate-night threat that he could be not very nice to Megyn Kelly, promoting a tweet calling the Fox News host a “bimbo” just hours after she pressed the Republican presidential candidate on his past remarks about women.
“You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, snobs and disgusting animals,” Kelly, one of Fox’s three GOP debate moderators, told Trump Thursday night.
“Only Rosie O’Donnell,” Trump interrupted.
{mosads}”For the record, it was well beyond Rosie O’Donnell,” Kelly retorted, pointing out “several disparaging comments about women’s look” on his Twitter account.
The GOP front-runner pushed back, saying he didn’t “have time for total political correctness” and neither does “this country.”
He then took a personal turn, telling Kelly he has been “very nice” to her “although I could probably maybe not be, based on the way you have treated me.”
Following the debate, Trump launched into a heated “tweetstorm,” tweeting and retweeting comments about Fox News’s alleged mistreatment of him, singling out Kelly.
“@timjcam: @megynkelly @FrankLuntz @realDonaldTrump Fox viewers give low marks to bimbo @MegynKelly will consider other programs!”

Speaking with reporters outside the debate arena, Trump blasted questions from Fox News as inappropriate and “not nice,” adding that “Megyn behaved very badly personally.”
