‘Baby Got PAC’ group backing Rubio
Multimillionaire John Jordan, a prominent GOP donor, is launching a super-PAC named “Baby Got PAC” in support of Sen. Marco Rubio’s (Fla.) 2016 bid, Time reported Tuesday.
The group’s name is a tribute to a 1990s rap song by Sir Mix-a-Lot.
{mosads}The super-PAC’s inaugural ad notes that Republican voters have many choices for their 2016 nominee from a crowded field.
“We had to decide which conservative candidate for president to support,” a narrator says.
“So you know who we asked?,” the narrator continues. “Hillary Clinton and the Democrats. For once they told the truth.”
The ad then shows media clips noting the concerns the Clinton campaign has about running against Rubio, highlighting him as Republicans’ best pick to defeat the Dem front-runner.
“When the media and the Democrats tell you who they’re afraid to run against, that tells us all we need to know,” the narrator concludes.
The super-PAC was formed Nov. 3, according to Federal Election Commission and Internet registration records, Time reported.
