Outlets publish photo of woman believed to be Tashfeen Malik

Multiple reports on Friday published a photo of a woman believed to be Tashfeen Malik, one of the suspects in the mass shooting in San Bernardino, Calif.

Authorities on Friday said Malik, who was born in Pakistan and moved to Saudi Arabia when she was 4 years old, pledged her allegiance to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) on Facebook as she carried out attack on an office in San Bernardino, Calif., on Wednesday.

{mosads}She married Syed Nazrim Farook, an American citizen she met online, and was admitted to the U.S. on a K-1 fiancee visa. For the visa application, Malik listed an address from her Pakistani hometown that ABC News reported does not exist. 

The couple had a baby daughter six months ago and reportedly dropped her off with her grandparents before the attack on Wednesday.

The photo was first obtained by ABC News.

Police say Malik and Syed killed 14 people and injured 21 at the Inland Regional Center, which provides social services to people with developmental disabilities.

They were reportedly killed in a shoot-out with police after fleeing the scene in a black SUV.

Authorities found thousands of rounds of ammunition, 12 pipe bombs and materials to make improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at the couple’s Redlands apartment.

The FBI said it is investigating the attack as an “act of terrorism.”
