Oil magnate: ‘I’m amused’ by Clinton wanting to move away from fossil fuels

Oil mogul T. Boone Pickens slammed Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton for her saying she wants to move the country away from fossil fuels.

{mosads}“I’m amused when I hear last night Hillary Clinton says we are going to get rid of coal. We’re going to get rid of all fossil fuels,” Pickens said in an interview with radio host John Catsimatidis that aired Sunday.

“You want to stop the music at that point and say, ‘Look, what are you going to replace it with?’ She has no idea.”

Clinton has said the U.S. should “move away” from coal and all the other fossil fuels.

“You get rid of fossil fuels, and you’ll stop the world,” Pickens said. “That’s the only thing that’s going to move that 18-wheeler, is diesel or natural gas.”
