Yahoo asks to reveal argument against NSA surveillance

{mosads}The companies vehemently denied initial news reports that they had allowed the NSA to tap directly into their servers to mine user data. But the companies have acknowledged that they are bound to comply with FISA court orders for specific user data.

The court rejected Yahoo’s argument in the 2008 ruling, which gave the government broad authority to force other technology companies to hand over user data, according to The San Jose Mercury News, which first reported on the filing.
