Elton John to headline Clinton fundraiser
Elton John is lending his voice to Hillary Clinton’s campaign, reportedly singing at an upcoming fundraiser for the Democratic presidential nominee.
{mosads}The British singer, who boasts five Grammy Awards and hundreds of millions of records sold, will perform at an Oct. 13 campaign event in California for Clinton, according to Variety.
Tickets to the exclusive soiree — which benefits the Hillary Victory Fund — run $33,400 a person.
Republican rival Donald Trump is reportedly a fan of John’s music, but this is not the first time the knighted performer has gotten on state for Clinton, holding a sold-out fundraiser for her at Radio City Music Hall in March.
Clinton was forced to cancel a scheduled swing through Los Angeles earlier this month after her campaign said she was diagnosed with pneumonia.
