Polish president rips media after handshake video

Poland President Andrzej Duda is ripping reports that his wife snubbed President Trump for a handshake as “fake news.”

Polish first day Agata Kornhauser-Duda shook Trump’s hand after his speech in Warsaw after first walking by the president to shake the hand of U.S. first lady Melania Trump.

{mosads}An initial video that circulated of the handshakes was cut off before showing Poland’s first lady shaking hands with Trump. Media reports in The Hill and other news outlets included this shortened video.

The full video of all of the handshakes can be seen above.

Duda in a tweet urged his followers to “fight fake news” together.

“Contrary to some surprising reports my wife did shake hands with Mrs. and Mr. Trump @POTUS after a great visit,” he wrote Thursday evening. “Let’s FIGHT FAKE NEWS.”

Editor’s note: This story has been updated and now includes the full video of Trump’s handshakes with Poland’s president and first lady.
