Trump tweets photo with Macrons
President Trump on Friday proclaimed that the United States’ relationship with France is “stronger than ever” in a captioned photograph with French President Emmanuel Macron.
The photo, which was taken Thursday night, shows Trump and wife Melania dining with the French leader and his wife at the Eiffel Tower.
“Great evening with President @EmmanuelMacron & Mrs. Macron,” Trump wrote on Twitter Friday morning.

{mosads}The four dined on blue lobster and caviar Thursday after speculation that Trump and Macron would try to work out the two leaders’ differences over the Paris climate accord, which Trump exited last month.
“Something could happen with respect to the Paris accord. We’ll see what happens,” Trump said during a joint news conference with Macron in Paris on Thursday.
“But we’ll talk about that in the coming period of time. If it happens, that will be wonderful. If it doesn’t, that’s OK, too.”
When the two leaders met in May, they shared an intense handshake that quickly went viral on social media. Macron later commented on the incident, saying Trump’s grip “wasn’t innocent.”
