Trump condemns latest North Korea missile launch
President Trump slammed North Korea’s “latest reckless and dangerous” intercontinental missile launch on Friday, hours after the Pentagon said it detected the launch of a ballistic missile.
“By threatening the world, these weapons and tests further isolate North Korea, weaken its economy, and deprive its people,” Trump said in a statement released by the White House.

“The United States will take all necessary steps to ensure the security of the American homeland and protect our allies in the region,” the statement continued, issuing a warning to the regime.
Japanese public broadcaster NHK said that North Korea launched the missile before midnight Japanese time on Friday, and the missile flew for 45 minutes, CNBC reported.
The last known missile test conducted by North Korea occurred on July 4, when the regime tested an intercontinental ballistic missile for the first time.
The latest launch marks the 14th missile test from the regime this year.
