Trump: Media promoting ‘mentally deranged’ Wolff’s book
President Trump on Saturday tore into author Michael Wolff over his new book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.”
Trump called Wolff “mentally deranged” and claimed the media is promoting the book.
“So much Fake News is being reported. They don’t even try to get it right, or correct it when they are wrong. They promote the Fake Book of a mentally deranged author, who knowingly writes false information. The Mainstream Media is crazed that WE won the election!” Trump said in a tweet.

The president has repeatedly hit Wolff over the book, which contains several explosive claims about the president and his administration. Wolff writes that several people close to Trump in the White House have questioned his mental fitness to serve as president.
The claim has sparked renewed interest in the media on Trump’s mental health. {mosads}
The president’s comments were his first public remarks since a false emergency alert was sent in Hawaii, warning people of an incoming ballistic missile.
The White House released a statement on the incident, saying the president was aware of the situation.
“The President has been briefed on the state of Hawaii’s emergency management exercise. This was purely a state exercise,” deputy press secretary Lindsay Walters said in a statement.
