Bruce Springsteen questions whether Trump is fit to serve
Bruce Springsteen is fearful over whether Donald Trump is fit to serve as president, Entertainment Weekly reported Monday.
“I’ve felt disgust before, but never the kind of fear that you feel now,” Springsteen told Marc Maron on a new episode of his “WTF” podcast.
“It’s as simple as the fear of, is someone simply competent enough to do this particular job? Do they simply have the pure competence to be put in the position of such responsibility?” Springsteen said.
The “Born in the U.S.A.” singer, who performed at a Hillary Clinton rally on the eve of the election, was an outspoken critic of Trump throughout the campaign.

Springsteen previously called Trump a “moron” and said his campaign is “a tragedy for our democracy.” He also predicted that Trump would not win the election.
But the rocker told Maron that he understands how Trump got elected, citing fears over jobs and the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
“There’s plenty of good, solid folks that voted for Donald Trump,” Springsteen said, “as well as people who had other agendas.”
