Ryan blasts Obama on executive orders
House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), speaking Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” blasted President Obama for saying he would use executive orders to skirt Congress.
Ryan stopped short of calling for Obama’s impeachment, however.
{mosads}Obama made the assertions in the State of the Union speech on Tuesday.
“We have an increasingly lawless presidency,” Ryan said. “It is not the number of executive orders, it is the scope.”
“That is not the way our Constitution works,” Ryan said, calling Obama’s moves a “dangerous trend.”
Ryan said “no” when asked if he would move to try to impeach Obama, saying a lot of the issues will be fought out in court.
