Sarindee Wickramasuriya

Sarindee Wickramasuriya is no slouch.

{mosads}Aside from her day job in the strategic communications department at The Glover Park Group, Wickramasuriya fills her hours attending educational and cultural events while squeezing in quality time with friends and family.

One thing she’ll make time for every day though? Sweets. And despite her petite frame, Wickramasuriya admits her diet isn’t exactly what you’d expect.

“It’s a pretty heavy dessert-and-chocolate diet,” she said with a laugh, attributing her trim figure to good genes. “I’m not quite sure where it all goes to, but I’m not complaining.”

Confections aside, Wickramasuriya’s interests include international relations, as well as her Sri Lankan heritage. And with good reason: Her father served as the Sri Lankan ambassador to the United States.

“I think, when my dad became ambassador, I had a whole new passion for advocating for both Sri Lanka and America,” she said.
