Mike Sacks
Mike Sacks is just your average National Law Journal congressional correspondent who digs air guitar competitions, epic poems and yoga pose attempts.
{mosads}The yoga is thanks to Sacks’s spouse, Samm: “My wife is the one who requires physical activity. I’m the one who, if left to my own devices, would be entirely inert every day.”
Maybe not entirely — Sacks often finds himself chasing after his toddler son.
A “retired” air guitar enthusiast, the Georgetown Law grad recalled his competitive period: “I would spend every day walking to law school across the Capitol grounds, listening to my one-minute song on repeat, visualizing what I was going to do and the stance I was going to take on the balcony at the 9:30 Club.”
A self-described news junkie who “loves words,” Sacks once adapted John Milton’s Paradise Lost into a screenplay.
“I love rock ‘n’ roll, reading and the Supreme Court.”
