Eric Bolden
Eric Bolden, legislative correspondent for Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-N.Y.), has figured out a novel way to stay fit: renovating his house in Northeast D.C.
{mosads}Bolden transformed the Takoma home that’s been in his family since 1927 all by himself, giving it a fresh coat of paint and stripping the carpets.
“It’s a project when I want it to be a project, and then it’s a problem when I don’t want it to be a problem,” joked Bolden, who lives with his dog, a boxer named Abby.
A self-described “adrenaline junkie,” Bolden is eager to “just try it all,” whether it’s bungee jumping, sampling Vietnamese balut eggs (boiled duck embryos eaten in the shell) or jumping out of planes.
“It’s like driving down an open road really fast with your arm out the window,” Bolden said of skydiving.
