Yusuf Parray likes to fight — literally.

{mosads}The staffer to Rep. Mike Honda (D-Calif.) has been a wrestler for years and still finds time to travel to amateur events on weekends, though he claims to have fallen out of shape a tiny bit. 

He also played football in college, as well as while attending a graduate program in business management.

The business world lost its charm quickly, so now Parray is climbing the ladder on Capitol Hill. 

“Public service is where I want to be,” he said.

But the fighting spirit hasn’t left him.

“I would love to get in the ring or get on the mat with Markwayne Mullin,” he said with a laugh. Mullin (R-Okla.) was a professional mixed martial arts fighter before coming to Congress.

“Tell him I’ll take him down,” Parray joked.
