She says she’s “a country girl at heart,” but at the Congressional Federal Credit Union, Marsha Brogdon lives the life of a banker.
{mosads}“It doesn’t matter how much money you make or what you are doing, everyone needs help with their banking and their financing,” she said.
When she’s not crunching numbers, Brogdon enjoys restaurant-hopping.
“I’m a pretty big foodie, so I love experimenting and finding different foods,” she said.
She also finds her way to Zumba classes. “It’s embarrassing, but I go there three to four times a week, and I would go every day if I could,” Brogdon exclaimed.
Brogdon says she became a banker to help people, and she volunteers to teach kids about financial literacy.
She’s also quick with one-liners: “If you want to talk about getting something done, you call a man. If you actually want something done, you call a woman.”
