Jack Lincoln

Jack Lincoln, staff assistant for the House Natural Resources Committee, can relate to the hit movie “Zoolander.”

{mosads}For one, people frequently say he looks like actor Owen Wilson. 

Lincoln bears such a strong resemblance that he used to dress up for Halloween as Hansel, Wilson’s “so hot right now” fashion model. A friend would play along and deck out as Hansel’s rival model, Ben Stiller’s Derek Zoolander.

And to top it off, Lincoln was once a model himself, a fact he modestly offers as an aside. His modeling career, in high school and college, included runway shows and local ad campaigns.

“I’ve worn some really weird stuff,” Lincoln recalled with a laugh, offering a jacket with pockets lining the sleeves as an example of haute couture with “no practical use.”

Still, modeling gave Lincoln an appreciation for fashion.

“I make an effort to coordinate my style,” he said.
