Liberal group plows money into recall
A liberal political group announced Saturday that it’s sending more funds into Wisconsin for the effort to remove Gov. Scott Walker (R) from office.
The Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) said it has put another $100,000 into the state’s recall aimed at the governor. Removing Walker has become a top priority for Democrats and the labor movement after he faced off with unions last year when he pushed through legislation that limited public workers’ collective bargaining rights.

Polls have been tight in the state, with Walker often in a slight lead against his Democratic challenger, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. The recall election is Tuesday, June 5.
