President Obama’s second term portrait unveiled
The official portrait, taken by White House photographer Pete Souza, will replace the 2009 portrait of Obama in all federal buildings. Unlike his previous version — also taken by Souza, and the first official portrait to be taken by a digital camera — Obama’s teeth and the Resolute desk in the Oval Office are visible.
{mosads}Obama’s second inaugural is planned for Monday. White House officials, including deputy press secretary Josh Earnest, tweeted about the updated portrait on Friday.
