Conservative group: Rubio, 18 House Republicans were perfect

Only a handful of Democrats, meanwhile, voted with the group 20 percent of the time. One Democratic senator, and 21 House members got a zero score.

The AFP scorecard use 35 Senate votes, and 22 House votes from the last Congress, and only scores lawmakers on votes dealing with the economy. The group takes a special interest in energy issues, including sponsoring a pledge in which lawmakers vow to oppose any climate change bill that raises revenues.

Reps. Mo Brooks (Ala.), Steve Chabot (Ohio), Trent Franks (Ariz.), Scott Garrett (N.J.), Tom Graves (Ga.), Bill Huizenga (Mich.), Jim Jordan (Ohio), Raul Labrador (Idaho), Doug Lamborn (Colo.), Tom McClintock (Calif.), Patrick McHenry (N.C.), Mick Mulvaney (S.C.), Randy Neugebauer (Texas), Dennis Ross (Fla.) and David Schweikert (Ariz.) all received perfect scores from AFP.

Former Reps. Ben Quayle (Ariz.) and Joe Walsh (Ill.), who both lost bids for a second term last year, also got perfect scores, as did now-Sen. Jeff Flake (Ariz.).
