Trump: Spitzer, Weiner turning New York into ‘pervert central’
Spitzer and Weiner are both seeking to revive their political careers after both were derailed by sex scandals.
{mosads}Spitzer stepped down in 2008 after admitting to seeing prostitutes, but emerged this week in a last minute bid for New York City comptroller. Weiner, who resigned from Congress after admitting to texting lewd photos of himself to women, is running for New York City mayor.
Trump followed up with a Tweet aimed at an emotional interview Spitzer gave Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” Spitzer choked back tears when answering a question from host Mika Brzezinski about how he had changed since the scandal.
Too bad @morningmika did not allow her interview with @SpitzerForNYC to go on another few minutes…would have been interesting…
