Rep. Levin seeks to mark up green energy bill next week

The bill’s centerpiece
provision would extend Section 48C of the tax code that gives investors a 30
percent tax break for investing in renewable energy. 

The legislation is expected
to cost between $15 billion and $20 billion. 

Lawmakers are looking to repeal tax breaks for the oil and gas
industry to help pay for the bill.
