LinkedIn joins legal fight against NSA secrecy
{mosads}Google and Microsoft first launched the legal battle to reveal more information about NSA spying and were joined earlier this month by Facebook and Yahoo.
“We believe our members and the LinkedIn community deserve to know this information, especially in light of recent revelations about the nature of U.S. government surveillance,” Erika Rottenberg, LinkedIn’s general counsel, wrote in a blog post.
The company also published a transparency report on Tuesday detailing government requests for its users’ information.
