A win on Sunday would be the third major victory for a Missouri sports team is as many days.
In college football on Saturday, the 14th ranked Missouri Tigers beat Florida 36-17 to continue their unbeaten season.
The win follows the St. Louis Cardinals’ 9-0 win on Friday against the Los Angeles Dodgers to win the National League pennant and advance to the World Series. On Friday evening, McCaskill posted videos on Twitter of celebrations in the stands after the win.
The Chiefs, currently 6-0, are favored in the home game against the 2-4 Texans.
The other NFL team based in Missouri, the St. Louis Rams, are having a less celebrated season. The team, scheduled to travel to Charlotte, N.C., to play the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon, are 3-3 and third in their division.
