Cruz uses Dr. Evil to promote O-Care repeal
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is not giving up on his campaign to get rid of ObamaCare.
On Tuesday, he asked his followers on Twitter to retweet him if they think President Obama’s signature healthcare law should be repealed.
A meme of Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers movie series was posted in the tweet.

Cruz, a freshman senator and Tea Party member, has been leading the cause to repeal the 2010 law. Its insurance coverage took effect Wednesday for Americans who signed up and enrolled in state or federal exchanges by the Dec. 24 deadline.
The Texas senator is credited with luring Republican leaders in the House to join him in the effort to defund ObamaCare, which led to the 16-day government shutdown last October.
