Grimm caught threatening reporter
Rep. Michael Grimm (R-N.Y.) threatened a reporter during an on-camera interview following Tuesday’s State of the Union address.
Grimm stormed off camera after a NY1 reporter began to ask him about allegations of campaign finance improprieties, only to return and get in the reporter’s face.
{mosads}The cable news channel’s political director tweeted that Grimm threatened the reporter.
Grimm has faced a series of questions about his campaign finances in recent years. The outburst could hurt his reelection chances in a Staten Island-based swing district.
The congressman was unapologetic following the confrontation.
