Facebook COO talks gender inequality
Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg says her friendship with Megyn Kelly began when she tuned into Fox News Channel and saw “The Kelly File” anchor schooling pundit Erick Erickson and Lou Dobbs on maternity leave.
Appearing on Kelly’s show on Wednesday, the Lean In author revealed, “I loved [the segment] so much I just called you to congratulate you.”
Responding last year to Erickson’s remarks that males typically hold the “dominant role” and females the “complimentary role” in society, Kelly said, “So I’ll start with you, Erick, what makes you dominant and me submissive? And who died and made you scientist in chief?”

Sandberg also dismissed talk of a political run.
When asked flat-out by Kelly if she was going to run for office, Sandberg replied, “No, I don’t want to run for office. I really love my job at Facebook, I love raising my kids, and I love what I get to do with my spare time at [her foundation] Lean In.”
