Lawmaker: Six US men freed from Honduras prison

Fitzpatrick said in a statement that the six men were “in the process of traveling back to the United States and being reunited with their families.”
{mosads}”It is with great pleasure I am able to announce the safe release of the six Americans wrongfully imprisoned in Honduras,” he said.
The Pennsylvania Republican said he visited the men in Honduras on Monday and had been involved since May in efforts to release them, The Associated Press reported.
The crewmen were imprisoned on May 5, after police and sailors reportedly found weapons, including an AK-47, on their vessel at an Honduran port.
