GOP outcry over surgeon general
After 17 months of vacancy, the Senate filled the U.S. Surgeon General position — but not everyone is happy.

Though a majority of Democrats supported the nomination, three Democrats, including Senator Joe Manchin (W.Va.) voted against Murthy.
