Clinton stays mum on Keystone
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton refused to be pinned down on the controversial Keystone XL oil pipeline as the Senate chugs through a lengthy debate over the project on Wednesday.
“I’m not going to express an opinion, this is in our process and that’s where it belongs,” Clinton said during her visit to Winnipeg, Canada.
{mosads}The Democratic front-runner for the 2016 presidential nomination spoke at the Global Perspectives series sponsored by Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce on Wednesday.
Clinton has repeatedly said in the past she would not voice her opinion on the $8 billion oil sands project ever since she was secretary of State, when the review first began.
