First Hillary Clinton Attack Ad of ’08 Election
Democratic Courage released the first group-sponsored, anti-Hillary Clinton attack ad of the 2008 presidential election Tuesday.
The group hopes to begin airing the ad in Iowa Friday but has yet to purchase air time. Democratic Courage President Glenn Hurowitz told The Hill Tuesday that his group already has enough money to make the purchase.
Democratic Courage says Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) routinely backs down from Republican opposition. The ad focuses on Clinton’s proposal to give every child in America a $5,000 bond at birth; it shows Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) proclaiming victory over Clinton’s proposal in a presidential debate.
