NASCAR’s Waltrip makes DC pit stops
SPOTTED: NASCAR driver Michael Waltrip strolling through the Cannon House Office Building rotunda on Tuesday between pit-stops on Capitol Hill.
The two-time Daytona 500 winner and former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant, in town with the auto care industry, was poised to attend a briefing and reception hosted by Rep. Robert Pittenger (R-N.C.).
ITK hears Waltrip is also due to attend a forum at the Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday.
