Consensus Still Developing on SCHIP Reauthorization (Sen. Olympia Snowe)

We’re still hoping to develop a consensus on this and it remains to be seen. We’re anticipating a markup on Thursday; I don’t know whether that is going to be scheduled or not, depending on whether or not we can have a bipartisan consensus. And we’re working on it; it just hasn’t been concluded at this point. Hopefully it will be, because I think it is critical to get the reauthorization — it’s a vital program.
