Group creates mock issues page for Scott Walker

Gov. Scott Walker doesn’t yet have an issues page on his presidential campaign website, so Democratic opposition research group American Bridge has launched a mock-up of one needling Walker on his issue stances.

{mosads}The new page, launched Tuesday, chides Walker for telling Fox News viewers on Monday to head to his website for more information on his policy stances and includes a litany of criticisms of his record. 

“Since Fox News viewers and voters across the country deserve the facts about Walker’s record, we decided to help Walker out. American Bridge has launched the Walker’s Issues Page with details on the dangerous policies Walker would enact as president,” the group says on the page. 

“There’s plenty in Walker’s record for everyone to find something they dislike!” 

While noting the “media frenzy” around Donald Trump, Walker told viewers on Monday’s episode of “America’s Newsroom” to visit his website to “see the details” of his policies.

The page attacks his job creation and tax records, as well as cuts to education, and his stance on abortion rights, immigration and LGBTQ issues. It links to a 30-page memo that delves into a slew of criticisms on issues.

Walker is far from the only presidential candidate without a specific issues page. Politico’s roundup of the GOP field found that former Gov. Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas), Gov. John Kasich (Ohio), former Gov. George Pataki (N.Y.), and Donald Trump also lack those pages.

On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton has a landing page for her four major campaign themes, but not a specific-issues landing page. Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley (D-Md.) has a similar page detailing his “vision” on five issues, while Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has a standard issues page.
