Trump hits late-night show circuit
Presidential candidates are making the late-night rounds this month, with Donald Trump’s next one coming Friday night.
The GOP front-runner is poised to appear Friday on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
{mosads}Trump will also sit down with Stephen Colbert for the new “Late Show” host’s Sept. 22 show on CBS. Fellow White House hopeful Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is slated to guest on the show a night earlier, the network announced this week.
Other commander in chief contenders are also taking a break from the campaign trail to yuck it up on late-night television.
Democrat Hillary Clinton will make a stop at “The Tonight Show” on Sept. 16, while Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is scheduled to appear on Colbert’s show on Sept. 18. Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley (D) is reportedly booked for a Sept. 15 interview on NBC’s “Late Night With Seth Meyers.”
