Ashley Judd going casual to White House after ‘unexpected’ invite
Ashley Judd is showing up to the White House in a T-shirt and jeans after she says she received an “unexpected” invitation to a Friday screening of a documentary on criminal justice reform.
The “Insurgent” star and 2012 Democratic National Convention delegate, who flirted with a Kentucky Senate bid last year, tweeted Friday that she was on her way to meet with President Obama in Washington.
Welcome to our capital, where I'm lucky enough to just gotten "the call." On my way to the White House to see @POTUS http://t.co/CcCe8o7EwC

She quickly revealed to her more than 268,000 Twitter followers that she might not be wearing the proper attire for the occasion:

Obama is poised to deliver remarks at Friday’s screening of the upcoming HBO documentary “Fixing the System,” produced by Vice Media. The doc features footage from Obama’s July trip to the El Reno Federal Correctional Institution outside of Oklahoma City, the first such visit to a federal prison by a sitting president.
Judd apparently isn’t the only celebrity attending the screening — a reporter eyed rapper Ludacris on his way into the White House.
Dunno why but @Ludacris is at the White House. pic.twitter.com/tmgyJYzaAl
