Pollster: Deez Nuts did better than Webb
Former Sen. Jim Webb (Va.) is touting his polled support as an independent in North Carolina after dropping out of the 2016 Democratic primary, but Public Policy Polling points out that even Deez Nuts gets better numbers.
“In the 1st poll we’re aware of that asked voters to consider Jim as an #independent, he received 8% in NC,” Webb tweeted Wednesday.

{mosads}Webb, who dropped out of the Democratic race last week, is considering a run as an independent but has not yet launched a campaign.
Responding to Webb’s tweet, Public Policy Polling was quick to point out that Deez Nuts had 9 percent of voter support in North Carolina in August.
