Trump: Bill Clinton ‘one of the great woman abusers of all time’
GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Monday called former President Bill Clinton “one of the great woman abusers of all time,” ramping up his war of words with Hillary Clinton.
“I think that Hillary is an enabler,” Trump said of the Democratic presidential front-runner on CNN’s “New Day.”
{mosads}“A lot of things happened that were very seedy,” Trump added of Bill Clinton’s presidency. “Obviously it was a big thing. He was impeached for heaven’s sake.”
Trump then accused Hillary Clinton of hypocrisy for saying last month that he has “a penchant for sexism.”
“She used the word ‘sexist,’” he said. “She used some words that were derogatory. How the hell can she do that when she has one of the great woman abusers of all time waiting for her at the house for dinner?”
Trump additionally argued that the Clintons’ accusations of sexism against him stem from their fear over his chances at victory in 2016.
“The last person they want to run against is Donald Trump,” he said. “The last person who Hillary Clinton wants to run against is me. I think I’ll beat her very easily.”
Trump made similar remarks about Bill Clinton last week, calling him “one of the great abusers of the world.”
The former president will appear with his wife on Monday in New Hampshire, first at an event in Nashua and than with a stop in Exeter on Monday evening.
In a tweet late Sunday, Trump said the “worst thing” Hillary Clinton could do is have the former president campaign for her.
The worst thing Hillary could do is have her husband campaign for her. Just watch.
