Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson was confronted Monday about his views on homosexuality after a town hall on Staten Island, N.Y.
{mosads}”Do you think I chose to be gay?” asked an unidentified woman, who was wearing a Pride Center of Staten Island T-shirt.
“Did you choose to be gay?” the retired neurosurgeon responded.
“Yes, do you think I chose to be gay?” the woman asked again.
“That’s a long conversation,” Carson said.
“I think you’re full of shit,” the woman said as she walked away.
“OK,” Carson responded.
Carson has previously said being gay is a choice since people “go into prison straight and when they come out, they’re gay.”
