Cruz-supporting PAC misspells ‘country’ in video
A super-PAC supporting Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) for president misspelled the word “country” in a YouTube video bashing his 2016 GOP rivals.
“Let’s take our counrty back now before it’s too late,” read text at the end of the video, with the “t” and “r” in the word transposed.
The video was later taken down, but not before Joe Pounder, a member of Sen. Marco Rubio’s (R-Fla.) presidential campaign, tweeted the link and called out the political action committee for its misspelling.
“If @tedcruz’s PAC is going to attack people as “lightweight,” you really need to spell every word right … “COUNRTY,” he tweeted.

The video, by Courageous Conservatives PAC, starts by targeting Rubio as “the lightweight,” and then flashes to a picture of Donald Trump, describing him as “the deadweight.”
{mossecondads}It also includes an image of a boat labeled the “Trumptanic.”
It goes on to tout Cruz as “the heavyweight” in the race, who “thinks like us” and “fights for us.”
“You’ve waited for decades for a leader like Ted Cruz,” the video concludes.
