Bernie Sanders played hoops with his children and grandchildren while waiting for the New Hampshire primary polls to close Tuesday night.
Sanders was declared the winner of the Democratic presidential primary shortly after 8 p.m., dealing his first defeat of the cycle to Hillary Clinton.
{mosads}CNN reported there was a basketball court adjacent to the gymnasium where supporters were gathered to hear his victory speech.
The Independent Vermont senator also posted images of his hoops session on Snapchat:
