Murdoch calls Christie a ‘suicide bomber’
Conservative media mogul Rupert Murdoch on Wednesday called Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie a “suicide bomber” for his hit-and-run attack on rival Marco Rubio.
“Chris Christie, suicide bomber,” Murdoch said in a tweet. “Damages victim while blowing himself up!”

{mosads}Christie is expected to suspend his presidential campaign Wednesday, after an underwhelming sixth-place finish in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary.
Prior to departing the race, he went on a relentless blitz against Rubio, calling into question the first-term Florida senator’s preparedness to be president.
At Saturday night’s GOP debate, Christie accused Rubio of being too scripted and caught him repeating a talking point several times.
Rubio finished a disappointing fifth place in New Hampshire after a strong showing in the Iowa caucuses the previous week.
Conservative pundit Charles Krauthammer on Tuesday similarly characterized Christie’s tactic a “suicide attack.”
